Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
LaunchSteady operates a hosted software-as-a-service platform for Singapore SMEs. For questions about this policy, contact us at support@launchsteady.sg.
2. What We Collect
We collect account data (name, email, business details, billing information), content you upload to the Platform (products, images, text), transactional data generated through your store, usage and technical data (page views, feature usage, device and browser information), and derived analytics from the above.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide and operate the Platform, process your subscription and billing, improve our services and features, train and improve our systems and AI models, send you service-related communications, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for advertising purposes and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Sharing Your Data
We share data with infrastructure and service providers as necessary to operate the Platform — including Cloudflare (hosting), Supabase (database), and Stripe (payments). These providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations. We do not share your data with any other third parties except where required by law.
5. Payments
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. When you connect a Stripe account or your customers make payments, those transactions are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. LaunchSteady does not store full card details.
6. Your End Customers' Data
You are an independent data controller for the personal data of your end customers (i.e. the people who buy from your store or make bookings). You are solely responsible for your own privacy policy and for complying with applicable data protection laws in relation to your customers' data.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After account closure, your data is retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted. You can export your data at any time from your dashboard before closing your account.
8. Your Rights
Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you and to correct any inaccuracies. To make a request, contact us at support@launchsteady.sg. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to operate the Platform (authentication sessions, preferences). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
10. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure infrastructure via Cloudflare, and access controls. No system is completely secure — you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days notice. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Singapore, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
