Terms of Service
Effective Date: 19 May 2025
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT, YOU AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT IN ITS ENTIRETY.
1. The Platform
LaunchSteady provides a hosted software-as-a-service platform that allows business owners to create and operate a live website, storefront, and booking system on a LaunchSteady subdomain. Access is provided on a monthly subscription basis.
2. Your Account
You must be at least 18 years of age to register. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@launchsteady.sg if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Subscription & Payment
Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance in Singapore Dollars. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to suspend access for non-payment after 7 days. Price changes will be communicated with at least 30 days notice. Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before expiry.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform for lawful purposes only. You must not use the Platform to sell unlawful goods or services, infringe third-party rights, transmit harmful or fraudulent content, or attempt to circumvent any security feature of the Platform. You are solely responsible for your business operations and your compliance with all applicable laws in every jurisdiction in which you operate.
5. Payments via Stripe Connect
The Platform integrates with Stripe Connect. By connecting a Stripe account, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. Money flows directly to your connected Stripe account — LaunchSteady is not in the flow of funds. LaunchSteady has no liability for payment disputes, chargebacks, or any action taken by Stripe in relation to your account.
6. Intellectual Property
The Platform and all associated software, themes, and content created by LaunchSteady remain our exclusive property. You retain ownership of the content and data you upload. Any feedback or ideas you provide to us may be used by LaunchSteady without restriction or compensation.
7. Privacy & Data
LaunchSteady collects and processes account data, content you upload, transactional data, usage and technical data, and derived analytics. We use this data to provide and improve the Platform, including the training and improvement of our systems. We do not sell your personal data. We share data with infrastructure and service providers as necessary to operate the Platform. Data is retained for 90 days after account closure then deleted. You are an independent data controller for your End Customers' data and are solely responsible for your own privacy policy and compliance with applicable data protection laws.
8. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. LaunchSteady makes no warranty that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.
9. Limitation of Liability
LaunchSteady's total liability to you is capped at the subscription fees you paid in the 3 months preceding any claim. LaunchSteady is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses. You are solely responsible for any legal claims brought against you by your customers or any regulatory authority in connection with your business. You agree to indemnify and hold LaunchSteady harmless from any claims arising out of your use of the Platform or your business operations.
10. Termination
You may cancel at any time via your dashboard. LaunchSteady may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or if required by law. Export your data before closing your account.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be resolved by arbitration under the rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified with at least 30 days notice. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
